Hope you enjoy the slide show of Greece - one of two places (the other being Ireland) where people look you in the eye and truly "connect". "LIVE AND LET LIVE", say the Greeks. Maybe that's why they're so happy. They seem to be REALLY ALIVE.

Seeing through New Eyes

Wow, this is definitely seeing through "new eyes". How could Frank Gehry ever conceive of a structure so "out of this world"? It is amazing to see in person. I never thought an inanimate object could be photogenic, but this creation is.

* The Hall contains 12,500 pieces of primary steel, which weigh over 11,000 tons

* A 750 pound crane was needed to erect the steel support structure

* 300 tons of bolts and welds were used

* 18,000 cubic yards of concrete were poured, including two roof slabs 15 inches thick

Beauty and Creativity (seeing with new eyes continued)

No matter what's going on............there's still beauty all around us. I took a walk in Dana Point (California) to make my fitness plan fun as well as healthy. Anybody know what this is? (Answer tomorrow).

Seeing the World with New Eyes

Last week I was driving on Pacific Coast Highway in Laguna Beach.................it was a perfect beach day (although I was on my way to a root canal). I have vowed to have my camera with me from now on. I'm SO sorry I don't have photographs of what I saw enroute..................first--------a large RV parked on the side of the highway with a HUGE red chair; really huge like fit for a king (Like Louis XIV - he was a Large man, right) ON TOP of the RV!!!!! A few miles further north, a moped "upholstered" in Astroturf - every little spot covered with green Astroturf!!!! Only in Laguna (or maybe Venice)! I love being aware to savor these humorous sights!
