Come along with me
I've always appreciated living near the ocean; in fact, I promised myself I'd never take it for granted. What a fun way to stay physically as well as mentally healthy!

A Walk on the Beach
What a BEAUTIFUL NIGHT in Laguna last night. Crystal Cove is my favorite place and little to I know until I delved into a most delightful book, "Crystal Cove Cottage - Islands in time on the California Coast" published by Chronicle Books, San Francisco. I didn't know Hollywood had discovered it as early as 1917! Film crews had built small thatched huts and trucked palm trees down from L.A. nurseries. The "huts" remained and became vacation rentals! It's now a State Park and one can rent the cottages, many of which are still being renovated.

The Moon and the Stars
Have you gone outside and looked at the night sky?? It's spectacular. I was surprised to learn Einstein used to lay in the grass and stargaze to brainstorm. I have so many happy memories of enjoying my mom's company and philosophy spending countless summer nights watching for shooting stars and comtemplating the grandness of the universe!
